This year I will be providing keepsake portfolios with your bluebonnet shoots. Appointments are half an hour and the sitting fee is $85. 

The best outfits are: pastel solids or very faint prints. I love light yellows. Navy blues are also good. Bring on the Easter dresses or go casual--it's up to you! The only things that I feel take away from the flowers are stripes, bright contrasty florals, deep red, vivid orange, or jewel-tone purples. Full families should coordinate, though, so we don't have a bunch of colors. Think neutral or blue.

The times and places I photograph in the flowers change daily as more blooms appear and I find spots where we are safe (no road sides) and have available parking.  The sun is VERY important as we don't want your child squinting or facing sun glare as they often do in open fields. Yesterday I watched a family on the rode side in full sun and I thought, "Don't do it! Everyone will look terrible!"
